This is a great little pot to make basted eggs in. Add an egg in the melted butter. Cooks perfect.
I use this for rendering excess fat removed from steak prior to cooking. I then pour this over the steak before serving. Great product again from Lodge.
Lodge is always great for cast iron and we bought this to heat up water for tea and coffee. It works great and would get five stars if it were a couple ounces larger and poured easier. Other than those two minor issues it is awesome.
