I enjoy sautéing greens Italian style: Swiss Chard, Spinach, Kale, etc. sautéed with fresh garlic in olive oil, and some times onion. This huge 17" skillet meets the challenge. I can put in 3 to 4 chopped bunches of Swiss Chard and sauté in one fell swoop without spilling over the sides. I also sauté sweet red & green peppers in it. I usually do this larger scale sautéing on my patio gas BBQ unit to minimize indoor cook-top splatters. My wife loves that! The skillet is also easy to clean. I really like the fact that is had two looped handles and which makes it easier to center on my cooking surface and to store. This Lodge skillet is awesome!
