Get one. Get several. I seasoned my 12" with several coats of pure flax oil and this pan is outstandingly slick. Pork schnitzels, scrambled eggs, lemon ricotta pancakes, chicken picatta. All perfect. The steel is very heat responsive. I have several enameled French pans and commercial nonsticks in my arsenal...but this pan...I can't say enough. Buon Apetito!

Absolutely love this skillet. My son said the quality of okra has improved and that is important! I want this in all the different sizes available, especially the griddle.

I ordered this pan a few months ago, but wanted to put it through several uses before reviewing. I now can say, I reach for this pan every morning when I cook our bacon/sausage/eggs. I have even baked biscuits and cornbread in it. For other meals, it gives the best sear to our steaks & chops. I can deglaze and continue with a sauce in the same pan or pop the meat into a high oven to finish cooking. It really is my go-to-pan since it came into my kitchen.

I've been using a 12" cast iron skillet for years, but wanted to try the lighter Carbon Steel skillet. Man, I haven't used the CI at all since I got the carbon steel. skillet.. It works great and is super slick.
