We purchased this DO a few years ago for camping and use it all the time for meals. The quality of finish and fit make this cast iron oven easy to use and easy to clean. Heavy wire handle allows for a secure feel when rotating it over the coals. The sturdy integrated legs and lid handle are signs of pride in the product. The lid lifter, lid stand and the optional trivet complete our â€œdoes everythingâ€ Dutch oven. The experience of cast iron cooking and experimenting with different food ideas is possibly equal enjoyment. No burgers and hotdogs at our camp site, we do great meals that have always drawn a curious camper to see what is cooking in the coals. From apple crisp dessert to sausage with cabbage we have not been disappointed yet. The only thing that makes our dutch oven better is when our camping friends bring their DO with and we have a banquet buffet of food.
